Description
Paired supplied item agreement under an explicit numerical tolerance, without questionnaire-specific reliability or clinical interpretation.
Research questionnaires and interview records distinguish answered, declined, omitted, unpresented, and inapplicable items. Timing and support annotations also affect their denominators. A completeness measure or scale transformation describes those records without establishing an instrument score or a mental-health assessment.
Paired supplied item agreement under an explicit numerical tolerance, without questionnaire-specific reliability or clinical interpretation.
When to use this tool
Use Psychiatric Study Repeated Item Agreement when you need the particular completeness, timing, polarity, or bookkeeping term for supplied research and interview records.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter firstResponses, secondResponses, tolerance. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read matched, compared, agreementFraction, meanSignedDifference. Use the output convention below.
Compare aligned nonempty numeric responses using inclusive absolute tolerance. Return matched count, compared count, agreementFraction, and meanSignedDifference as second minus first.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| firstResponses | First Responses | Required. Array of finite number; maximum items 256. |
| secondResponses | Second Responses | Required. Array of finite number; maximum items 256. |
| tolerance | Nonnegative absolute tolerance in the tested quantity, unless a different convention is stated. | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| matched | Matched | Required. Safe integer. |
| compared | Compared | Required. Safe integer. |
| agreementFraction | Agreement Fraction | Required. Finite number. |
| meanSignedDifference | Mean of second response minus first response. | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Tolerance uses response units and no chance correction or measurement model is fitted. Agreement does not establish psychiatric instrument reliability or clinical validity.
- The field tables state structural bounds; the mechanics also specify cross-field constraints. Malformed inputs and unsupported domains cause errors. A successful false flag, empty branch value, or zero placeholder has the meaning stated above and is distinct from an input error.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use the relevant validated instrument and its documented missing-response and scoring procedures when the task requires an assessment. Verify research annotations and timing before combining record terms.
