Description
Sum all areas into area and areas with all three flags true into supportedArea.
Precision-agriculture measurements combine spatial cells, sensor clocks, travel speeds, band signals, and application records. A correction or weighted share is meaningful only when coordinate frames, units, timestamps, and coverage bases agree. Supplied calibration and support flags remain distinct from measurements that establish them.
Sum all areas into area and areas with all three flags true into supportedArea.
When to use this tool
Use Management Cell Support Share when you have the stated field, sensor, map, or application records and need this correction or geometric/accounting component.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter cellAreas, boundaryValid, sourceCurrent, observationPresent. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read area, supportedArea, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.
Require aligned cellAreas, boundaryValid, sourceCurrent, and observationPresent arrays with nonnegative areas. Sum all areas into area and areas with all three flags true into supportedArea. Return share=supportedArea/area when positive, otherwise zero with defined=false.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| cellAreas | Cell Areas | Required. Array of finite number; minimum 0; maximum items 256. |
| boundaryValid | Boundary Valid | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| sourceCurrent | Source Current | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| observationPresent | Observation Present | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| area | Area in a unit compatible with the other physical inputs. | Required. Finite number. |
| supportedArea | Supported Area | Required. Finite number. |
| share | Dimensionless share under the stated base; not a percentage numeral. | Required. Finite number. |
| defined | Whether the associated ratio is defined; inspect before using a zero placeholder. | Required. Boolean. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Flags are trusted and cell overlap is not removed. Empty or zero-area inputs give an undefined share placeholder; unweighted record counts would answer a different question.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Verify the measurement calibration, coordinate frame, spatial support, and clock convention before combining this term into a map or control workflow. Use a complete equipment or field model when geometric and operating constraints matter.
