Mobility Aid Handle Height Offset

Compare explicit handle and reference heights without selecting or assessing a mobility-aid fit.

Loading tool…

Description

Compare a mobility-aid handle height with a supplied reference height.

Rehabilitation records separate client priorities, scheduled attendance, assistance codes, video coordinates and exercise logs. A missed scheduled visit differs from an unscheduled day, and a frame timestamp assumes a frame-rate model. Local counts or offsets do not evaluate movement quality, recovery, safe exercise or appropriate care.

Compare a mobility-aid handle height with a supplied reference height.

When to use this tool

Use Mobility Aid Handle Height Offset when you already have recordedHandleHeight, suppliedReferenceHeight and need to compare a mobility-aid handle height with a supplied reference height.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter recordedHandleHeight, suppliedReferenceHeight. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read signedOffset. Use the output convention below.

Require nonnegative recorded/reference heights; return recorded-reference.1

Input fieldMeaning and unitsAccepted input
recordedHandleHeightRecorded Handle HeightRequired. Finite number; minimum 0.
suppliedReferenceHeightSupplied Reference HeightRequired. Finite number; minimum 0.
Output fieldInterpretationReturned shape
signedOffsetSigned OffsetRequired. Finite number.

Limitations and assumptions

  • The reference is assumed; no person's fit, posture, fall risk or safe device adjustment is assessed.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the actual attendance schedule, movement recording and stated outcome instrument. For timing, use acquisition timestamps when frame rate varies; keep client priorities and exercise logs separate from a validated assessment of recovery.
