Exercise Log Set Count Delta

Compare explicit planned and recorded exercise set counts without prescribing exercise volume.

Description

Compare recorded exercise-set count with a supplied planned count.

Rehabilitation records separate client priorities, scheduled attendance, assistance codes, video coordinates and exercise logs. A missed scheduled visit differs from an unscheduled day, and a frame timestamp assumes a frame-rate model. Local counts or offsets do not evaluate movement quality, recovery, safe exercise or appropriate care.

Compare recorded exercise-set count with a supplied planned count.

When to use this tool

Use Exercise Log Set Count Delta when you already have plannedSets, recordedSets and need to compare recorded exercise-set count with a supplied planned count.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter plannedSets, recordedSets. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read recordedMinusPlanned, remainingSets. Use the output convention below.

Require nonnegative safe whole counts; return recorded-planned and max(0,planned-recorded).1

Limitations and assumptions

  • The tool does not prescribe sets or evaluate exercise quality, adherence, safety or treatment progress.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the actual attendance schedule, movement recording and stated outcome instrument. For timing, use acquisition timestamps when frame rate varies; keep client priorities and exercise logs separate from a validated assessment of recovery.
