Face-Free Fault Composite Grade Adjuster
Subtract explicit independently non-overlapping fault deductions, retaining unclipped grade and caller floor. Caller independently verifies observations, reference edition, units and applicability; not a grading-service certificate, authentication, conservation treatment, actual market price or legal/insurance entitlement.
Description
A composite grade adjustment can subtract supplied fault deductions from a base grade while respecting a chosen floor.
A composite grade adjustment can subtract supplied fault deductions from a base grade while respecting a chosen floor.1
This calculator exposes the raw score as well as the floored result so severe deductions remain visible.
When to use Face-Free Fault Composite Grade Adjuster
Use this tool when you need to summarize the supplied collecting records or matched observations. Prepare independently verified observations, reference edition/context, and matching units or currency basis.
How to use Face-Free Fault Composite Grade Adjuster and understand its results
- Prepare independently verified observations, reference edition/context, and matching units or currency basis.
- Enter baseCallerGrade, independentlyAssessedDeductions, callerFloor, following the field table and calculation rules below, then run the tool.
- Read adjustedCallerGrade, unclippedCallerGrade. For result objects, inspect the nested output fields below, including any missing evidence or selected indices.
- Correct any input issues and run again. Before using a successful result, review its units, signs, evidence coverage, and stated model or reference assumptions.
| Input field | Meaning | Value type | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| baseCallerGrade | Base caller grade | number | Required |
| independentlyAssessedDeductions | Independently assessed deductions | list of number | Required |
| callerFloor | Caller floor | number | Required |
Require nonnegative finite base grade, floor, and deductions with floor≤base. Sum deductions, subtract from base, and take max(floor, raw). An empty deduction list is permitted; no interactions between faults or service-specific grading rules are inferred.
raw=base−Σdeductions; adjusted=max(floor, raw) Read these symbols with the field meanings and branch or reference rules above.
| Output field | Meaning | Value type |
|---|---|---|
| adjustedCallerGrade | Adjusted caller grade | number |
| unclippedCallerGrade | Unclipped caller grade | number |

Observations, reference edition, and applicability are independently supplied. Arithmetic and reference summaries do not provide authentication, a certified grade, or an actual market price.
Missing required fields, unknown fields, wrong types, and violated calculation rules return input issues. Numeric values must be finite; nonfinite numeric outputs are rejected. Arrays must be dense, with no missing cells. Numeric lists allow at most 10000 entries, subject to smaller tool-specific bounds above.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For a related task, use Short Perf Teeth Count Deduction Checker: Short perforation teeth may affect a condition assessment according to a particular grading reference. This tool interpolates a supplied short-teeth deduction curve rather than applying a universal percentage schedule. For a complementary step, use Hinge Remover Trace Penalty Rater: A hinge trace may affect a condition reference or valuation, depending on the stamp and grading convention. This rater interpolates a supplied hinge-trace penalty curve rather than imposing a universal deduction.
