Description
For nonnegative distance and suppliedAccessFrequency return weightedDistance=distance*suppliedAccessFrequency.
Garden and resource-design calculations combine measured lengths, areas, water volumes, material fractions, travel, and evidence records. A useful budget needs consistent units and clear overlap, exclusion, and denominator rules. Supplied geometry and efficiencies describe a model rather than verified site performance.
For nonnegative distance and suppliedAccessFrequency return weightedDistance=distance*suppliedAccessFrequency.
When to use this tool
Use Zone Access Distance Weight when you have supplied site dimensions or resource records and need the stated geometry, budget, or coverage measure.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter distance, suppliedAccessFrequency. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read weightedDistance. Use the output convention below.
For nonnegative distance and suppliedAccessFrequency return weightedDistance=distance*suppliedAccessFrequency.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| distance | Length in the common measurement unit. | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| suppliedAccessFrequency | Supplied Access Frequency | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| weightedDistance | Weighted Distance | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Units are distance times the stated frequency basis. Access frequency is supplied rather than observed, and the score does not optimize zoning, routes, or physical access.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use verified site measurements and suitable physical or resource models for a complete design. Check units, overlap, losses, capacity, and whether an accounting share represents the intended quantity.
