Description
Count distinct valid trial IDs and distinct IDs with at least one valid response-present row; return their share when nonempty, otherwise zero with defined=false.
Pediatric research records use chronological age, visit windows, measurement resolution, task observations, and caregiver reports. Missing observation differs from noncompletion, and a completeness share depends on its denominator. Arithmetic on supplied records is separate from a developmental or clinical assessment.
Count distinct valid trial IDs and distinct IDs with at least one valid response-present row; return their share when nonempty, otherwise zero with defined=false.
When to use this tool
Use Child Task Response Support Share when you need this age, observation, visit, measurement, or record-completeness calculation with supplied inputs.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter trialIds, responsePresent, taskValid. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read validTrials, supportedValidTrials, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.
Require aligned trialIds, responsePresent, and taskValid arrays. Count distinct valid trial IDs and distinct IDs with at least one valid response-present row; return their share when nonempty, otherwise zero with defined=false.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| trialIds | Trial Ids | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |
| responsePresent | Response Present | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| taskValid | Task Valid | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| validTrials | Count of distinct IDs with at least one valid row. | Required. Safe integer. |
| supportedValidTrials | Supported Valid Trials | Required. Safe integer. |
| share | Dimensionless share under the stated denominator; not a percent numeral. | Required. Finite number. |
| defined | Whether the associated denominator or quantity is defined; read before using a zero placeholder. | Required. Boolean. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- A duplicate trial with any supported valid row counts as supported once. This is record support, not response success, experimental independence, or a validated developmental score.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use verified dates, measurement protocols, and observation definitions for the intended research question. A clinical interpretation needs the relevant age-specific assessment and context beyond the arithmetic record check.
