rK39 Rapid Test Line Intensity Band Classifier
Classify observed rK39 line presence with explicit control validity; intensity is not a disease-severity calibration.
Description
Record rK39 test-line presence with a valid control, retaining an indeterminate outcome and excluding severity inference.
A line-based assay needs a valid control and a known test-line observation before its recorded outcome can be interpreted. Line intensity is a different question from the presence of a line.
When to use this tool
Record rK39 test-line presence with a valid control, retaining an indeterminate outcome and excluding severity inference.
- Prepare the supplied testLinePresent, controlLinePresent, observationKnown fields for this operation.
- Compare the complete example with the representation used by your own input before carrying the result into another step.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter testLinePresent, controlLinePresent, observationKnown. Use the exact text syntax, units and index conventions explained below.
- Run the tool. If input validation fails, correct the supplied fields before interpreting any result.
- Read result.result, result.lineIntensityPredictsDiseaseSeverity. Interpret false, null and empty lists using the distinctions below; they can be valid outputs.
Require the three boolean observations. If observationKnown is false or controlLinePresent is false, return result.result indeterminate; otherwise return positive when testLinePresent is true and negative when false. Return lineIntensityPredictsDiseaseSeverity false.1
| Input field | Meaning and representation | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| testLinePresent | Explicit choice for test line present; supply a boolean rather than a text label. | true or false |
| controlLinePresent | Whether the test control line is present; absence makes the recorded outcome indeterminate. | true or false |
| observationKnown | True only when the feature observation is actually known; false preserves an indeterminate/unknown outcome. | true or false |
| Output field | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| result | Object containing the named outputs below. |
| result.result | The result value under the stated formula or text convention. |
| result.lineIntensityPredictsDiseaseSeverity | Flag for line intensity predicts disease severity under the exact condition described above. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- The nested result.result is an assay-observation label, not a diagnosis. No strip image, antibody response, line intensity or clinical severity is measured.
- Every declared top-level field is required and unexpected fields are rejected. Numeric inputs must be finite; ordinary text fields are bounded to 8,192 UTF-16 code units, with tighter operation-specific limits where stated.
- Ordinary string lists have at most 128 entries of at most 128 code units each; numeric lists and matrices have separate bounded size checks. Nonfinite results and excessively large serialized outputs are rejected.
- Indexes are zero-based and spans have an exclusive end unless explicitly stated otherwise. A valid false, null or empty-list result is distinct from malformed input.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Combine recorded observations with a validated method, appropriate controls and the complete specimen context. Use original qualified references when reviewing species, stages or product information; a supplied-record match, sample ratio or historical flag is only the stated piece of evidence.
