Ent Left Right Ear Label

Attach explicitly recorded ear laterality without inferring a diagnosis or test-side convention.

Description

Attach a recorded ear-side label to an ENT record.

ENT records use explicit laterality, event markers, sampling clocks, collection volumes and anatomical/source labels. A rate or point resistance needs compatible units, while video timing depends on frame-rate assumptions. These local measurements and records do not detect a clinical event, assess airway function or choose treatment.

Attach a recorded ear-side label to an ENT record.

When to use this tool

Use Ent Left Right Ear Label when you already have recordId, earSide and need to attach a recorded ear-side label to an ENT record.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter recordId, earSide. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read label. Use the output convention below.

Require recordId nonempty and earSide left, right, bilateral or unspecified; format ID [side ear].1

Limitations and assumptions

  • No anatomical side, examination, diagnosis or care action is verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the original signal, collection protocol and video acquisition timing for the actual measurement. Preserve supplied side and site sources; a local volume/time rate, frame offset or point ratio does not replace a complete functional assessment.
