Description
Sum all durations, documented durations, and durations both documented and source-verified.
Oral laboratory and research records use specimen labels, model coordinates, material quantities, event times, and device identifiers. A matching label or dimensional clearance answers a narrower question than verified anatomy, traceability, or clinical suitability. Source identity, reference frames, and measurement units must remain explicit.
Sum all durations, documented durations, and durations both documented and source-verified.
When to use this tool
Use Oral Procedure Source Share when you need this specimen-record, device-label, timing, material, or model-geometry check.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter stepDurations, documented, sourceVerified. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read totalDuration, documentedDuration, verifiedDuration, verifiedShare, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.
Require aligned nonnegative stepDurations, documented, and sourceVerified arrays. Sum all durations, documented durations, and durations both documented and source-verified. Return verifiedShare=verifiedDuration/totalDuration when positive, otherwise zero with defined=false.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| stepDurations | Step Durations | Required. Array of finite number; minimum 0; maximum items 256. |
| documented | Documented | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| sourceVerified | Source Verified | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| totalDuration | Total Duration | Required. Finite number. |
| documentedDuration | Documented Duration | Required. Finite number. |
| verifiedDuration | Verified Duration | Required. Finite number. |
| verifiedShare | Verified Share | Required. Finite number. |
| defined | Whether the stated denominator or quantity is defined; inspect before using a placeholder. | Required. Boolean. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Support flags are supplied and overlapping steps are not merged. Documentation-duration coverage is not proof of source accuracy, procedural completeness, safe care, or study quality.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use authenticated records and the intended laboratory or measurement protocol for the full task. Verify source labels, coordinate frames, calibration, and the limits of the supplied physical model.
