Description
Three-axis model-volume comparison with an explicit common shape coefficient, without image segmentation or response criteria.
Research lesion records distinguish measured dimensions, geometric size models, censoring conventions, assessment denominators, and follow-up timing. An axis product, percent change, or coverage measure describes only its stated inputs and model. Such arithmetic does not automatically implement a clinical response criterion or validate a study.
Three-axis model-volume comparison with an explicit common shape coefficient, without image segmentation or response criteria.
When to use this tool
Use Tumor Volume Research Axis Product Term when you need this research measurement, assessment-base, source, or event-time calculation.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter firstAxes, secondAxes, shapeCoefficient. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read firstVolume, secondVolume, volumeRatio. Use the output convention below.
Require three positive firstAxes, three nonnegative secondAxes, and positive shapeCoefficient. Return firstVolume=coefficient*product(firstAxes), secondVolume=coefficient*product(secondAxes), and volumeRatio=second axis product/first axis product.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- All axes need one length unit and the coefficient must match full axes versus semiaxes and the assumed shape. The tool does not segment tumors, validate a geometric volume model, classify response, or guide treatment.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use the intended study protocol and a complete measurement or analysis model for a broader conclusion. Verify lesion definitions, censoring, measurement correspondence, time anchors, and missing-assessment policy.
