Description
Audit a supplied scoped pseudonym mapping for collisions; the operation neither creates anonymization nor authenticates identity.
Research lesion records distinguish measured dimensions, geometric size models, censoring conventions, assessment denominators, and follow-up timing. An axis product, percent change, or coverage measure describes only its stated inputs and model. Such arithmetic does not automatically implement a clinical response criterion or validate a study.
Audit a supplied scoped pseudonym mapping for collisions; the operation neither creates anonymization nor authenticates identity.
When to use this tool
Use Oncology Data Extract Pseudonym Scope when you need this research measurement, assessment-base, source, or event-time calculation.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter sourceIds, pseudonyms, scope. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read keys, uniqueMapping, collisionPseudonyms. Inspect uniqueMapping before interpreting the associated values.
Require aligned sourceIds and pseudonyms, unique sourceIds, and nonempty scope. Return keys=JSON.stringify([scope, pseudonym]) per row, uniqueMapping when pseudonyms do not repeat, and distinct collisionPseudonyms in repeated-occurrence order.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| sourceIds | Source Ids | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |
| pseudonyms | Pseudonyms | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |
| scope | Scope | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| keys | Plain JSON namespace/pseudonym tuples, not hashes or anonymized identifiers. | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |
| uniqueMapping | Unique Mapping | Required. Boolean. |
| collisionPseudonyms | Collision Pseudonyms | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- No pseudonyms are generated, encrypted, hashed, or anonymized. Namespacing and duplicate checks do not guarantee privacy, prevent reidentification, authorize data use, or validate mappings across scopes.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use the intended study protocol and a complete measurement or analysis model for a broader conclusion. Verify lesion definitions, censoring, measurement correspondence, time anchors, and missing-assessment policy.
