Heat Observation Measurement Height Label

Label an explicit environmental-heat observation height without selecting a monitoring height or heat-stress method.

Description

Label the recorded measurement height of a heat observation.

Occupational exposure records need explicit agents, units, reference durations, method editions and observation conditions. A linear time-weighted contribution differs from a complete shift average and from logarithmic noise calculations. A recorded fit date or consent flag is metadata, rather than proof of protection, valid authority or safe exposure.

Label the recorded measurement height of a heat observation.

When to use this tool

Use Heat Observation Measurement Height Label when you already have recordId, heightMeters, locationWording and need to label the recorded measurement height of a heat observation.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter recordId, heightMeters, locationWording. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read label. Use the output convention below.

Require recordId/locationWording nonempty and heightMeters>=0; format height in m with the location wording.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • No temperature, heat index, sampling suitability or occupational risk is assessed.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the full measurement protocol, calibrated observations and applicable source method for an exposure assessment. Reconcile fit, consent and equipment records independently; one weighted term or source label does not establish adequacy or compliance.
