Description

Return one caller-classified research visibility contribution, not a patient-observation score.

Care and training records use task identifiers, source labels, counts, time intervals, observations, and accounting bases. Documentation support, actual delivery, and clinical quality are different questions. A local record rule or budget should be interpreted according to its explicit inclusion and denominator conventions.

Return one caller-classified research visibility contribution, not a patient-observation score.

When to use this tool

Use Observation Visible Time Weight when you need this care-record, observation, training, supply, time, or accounting component.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter visibleTime, eligibleTime, observationValue. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read weight, contribution. Use the output convention below.

For positive eligibleTime and visibleTime within zero through eligibleTime return weight=visible/eligible and contribution=observationValue*weight.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Times need one unit and observationValue can be signed. The term assumes meaningful linear weighting and does not establish actual observation quality, complete coverage, a clinical score, or patient status.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use authenticated records and the intended care, inventory, or training protocol for a full assessment. Verify source support, counting rules, time bases, and any contractual or consent conditions independently.
