Numeric to Adjectival Grade Converter
Convert a supported numeric grade and independently established business/proof family to a wear-state label. Proof is a manufacture designation, not automatically Mint State or perfect; unsupported numbers rejected.
Description
Business-strike and proof describe manufacture, while a numeric grade describes condition within a grading convention.

|---|---|---|---|
| numericGrade | Numeric grade | number | Required |
| callerVerifiedStrikeFamily | Caller verified strike family | string | Required |
Use a supported integer numeric grade from the fixed table and exact business or proof family. Grades below 60 return the standard band. Proof grades 60..70 return Proof, uncirculated-wear-state numeric range; business grades use Mint State. The input family is independently established.

} Limitations and assumptions
Coin identification, reference applicability and measurement uncertainty require separate evidence. A returned explanation or arithmetic agreement does not establish authenticity, a certified grade or a current market value.
Missing required fields, unknown fields, wrong types and violated rules return input issues. Numeric values and outputs must be finite. Extremely large composite outputs are rejected.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For a related step, use Sheldon Numeric Grade Lookup: Numeric coin grades map to conventional wear-state bands at specific supported grade points. For a complementary comparison, use Adjectival to Numeric Grade Converter: A broad adjectival grade band can contain several supported numeric grades.
