Description
Record a supplied neurological item response code and source.
Neurological signal records distinguish event markers, sampling rate, polarity, reference amplitude and physical units. A pre-trigger duration may not equal a whole sample count, so the rounding policy changes the represented interval. Scalar subtraction and timestamp arithmetic do not detect an event, validate a recording or establish a diagnosis.
Record a supplied neurological item response code and source.
When to use this tool
Use Neurological Item Source Code when you already have itemId, recordedCode, codebookSource and need to record a supplied neurological item response code and source.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter itemId, recordedCode, codebookSource. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read token. Use the output convention below.
Enter itemId, recordedCode, codebookSource using the field constraints below. Encode these values, in exactly that order, as a JSON array and return the serialized array as text in token. String values are preserved without trimming or external terminology lookup.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| itemId | Item Id | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| recordedCode | Recorded Code | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| codebookSource | Codebook Source | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| token | Token | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- The result records supplied values without scoring or diagnostic interpretation. Sources and asserted relationships are not independently authenticated.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Review the original signal, acquisition settings and annotation method when interpreting a recording. Use actual timestamps for variable timing and the complete reference/montage definition for signal analysis; preserve the local unit and rounding conventions.
