Description
Label a renal laboratory result's supplied censoring comparator and unit.
Renal records distinguish spot/daily reporting, urine/plasma units, indexed versus absolute results and session-relative sampling. A label for an indexed value does not perform body-area scaling, while session mass change differs from verified fluid removal. Source definitions and clinical context remain necessary for interpretation.
Label a renal laboratory result's supplied censoring comparator and unit.
When to use this tool
Use Nephrology Censoring Threshold Token when you already have resultId, boundaryValue, comparison, unitText and need to label a renal laboratory result's supplied censoring comparator and unit.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter resultId, boundaryValue, comparison, unitText. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read label. Use the output convention below.
Require nonempty result/unit labels and comparator <, <=, > or >=; preserve the signed boundary in the label.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| resultId | Result Id | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| boundaryValue | Boundary Value | Required. Finite number. |
| comparison | Comparison | Required. Text; one of "<", "<=", ">", ">="; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| unitText | Unit Text | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| label | Label | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- No exact value is imputed and no reference range, assay validity or clinical threshold is selected.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Check the original collection, laboratory and session records before combining values. Apply a complete validated measurement or calculation method when conversion beyond the stated units or reference labels is required; do not infer renal function from a local record helper.
