Description

When registrationKnown is true, test whether priorLabels contains outcomeLabel.

Evidence bookkeeping records identifiers, reported methods, source editions, and supplied support flags. A complete-looking citation or matching record is different from evidence of a claim's validity.

When registrationKnown is true, test whether priorLabels contains outcomeLabel.

When to use this tool

Use Trial Outcome Prior Label Token when you need a reproducible source or study-record consistency check.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter outcomeLabel, priorLabels, registrationKnown. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read listedPreviously, provenanceKnown. Inspect listedPreviously, provenanceKnown before interpreting the associated values.

When registrationKnown is true, test whether priorLabels contains outcomeLabel. Return provenanceKnown equal to registrationKnown.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • A false listedPreviously with unknown provenance does not prove an outcome was unregistered or selectively reported.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Read the original report and compare methods, outcomes, provenance, and uncertainty before assessing an evidence claim.
