Description
Construct a study-registration link from a restricted HTTPS-looking base and identifier.
Study and product records distinguish registration identifiers, comparator sources, printed ingredients, lots and consent claims. Preserving a label or constructing a link does not verify registration, composition, evidence or efficacy. Dates and source codes need their original records before they can support any substantive assessment.
Construct a study-registration link from a restricted HTTPS-looking base and identifier.
When to use this tool
Use Naturopathy Trial Registration Link when you already have registryBaseUrl, registrationId and need to construct a study-registration link from a restricted HTTPS-looking base and identifier.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter registryBaseUrl, registrationId. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read url. Use the output convention below.
Require a literal https:// prefix, a nonempty base body containing no whitespace, question mark or hash, and a trailing slash; registrationId must be nonempty with no unpaired surrogate. Append encodeURIComponent(registrationId).1
URI-component encoding protects reserved delimiters inside the appended identifier. It does not establish the validity, trustworthiness or existence of the supplied registry endpoint.2
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| registryBaseUrl | HTTPS-prefixed nonempty body ending in /, with no whitespace, ? or #; this lexical check is not full URL validation. | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| registrationId | Nonempty text with no unpaired surrogate; encoded as one URI component before appending. | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| url | Url | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
{
"input": {
"registryBaseUrl": "https://registry.example/record/",
"registrationId": "TR 17"
},
"output": {
"url": "https://registry.example/record/TR%2017"
}
} Limitations and assumptions
- The base check is a text pattern rather than full URL or registry validation; no study registration, trust, access or treatment efficacy is verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Check the actual registry record, source publication and product documentation when evaluating a claim. Review the complete evidence and clinical context separately from labels, expiry margins and constructed links; this helper does not validate an intervention.
