Description
Mark comparable only when outcomes differ.
Ranking metrics compare order or discount relevance by position. Ties, one-based ranks, and normalization choices change the contribution of an individual pair or rank.
Mark comparable only when outcomes differ.
When to use this tool
Use Concordance One Tied Pair Credit when you need one rank discount, tie block, or pairwise contribution.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter firstPrediction, secondPrediction, firstOutcome, secondOutcome, tieCredit. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read comparable, credit. Inspect comparable before interpreting the associated values.
Mark comparable only when outcomes differ. For comparable pairs, use the sign agreement of prediction and outcome differences for credit one or zero, with tieCredit for a tied prediction.1

| firstOutcome | First Outcome | Required. Finite number. |
| secondOutcome | Second Outcome | Required. Finite number. |
| tieCredit | Tie Credit | Required. Finite number; minimum 0; maximum 1. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |

| comparable | Comparable | Required. Boolean. |
| credit | Credit | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Equal outcomes return credit zero with comparable false and should be excluded appropriately from aggregate concordance.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
