Couple Name Combiner

Deterministic caller-chosen name prefix+suffix at Unicodecodepoint boundaries, not random or linguistically guaranteed pronounceable; combining graphemes may split and choice external.

Description

A combined couple name can join a chosen prefix of one name with a suffix of another.

A combined couple name can join a chosen prefix of one name with a suffix of another.1

Unicode code-point positions differ from byte offsets and displayed grapheme clusters. Use this tool to calculate the stated observation or conditional model from supplied measurements.

When to use Couple Name Combiner

Use this tool to calculate the stated observation or conditional model from supplied measurements. Establish the planning scope, matching instrument or reference, observation definitions and currency or time basis.

How to use Couple Name Combiner and understand its results

  1. Establish the planning scope, matching instrument or reference, observation definitions and currency or time basis.
  2. Enter firstName, secondName, firstPrefixCodePointCount, secondSuffixCodePointStart, using the field meanings and rules below, then run the tool.
  3. Read result.customCombinedName. Interpret each field using the units, signs and evidence rules below.
  4. If input validation fails, correct the reported field and run again. Before applying a successful result, check the stated reference scope, units, assumptions and any retained unknown evidence.
Input fieldMeaningValue typeRequirement
firstNameFirst namestringRequired
secondNameSecond namestringRequired
firstPrefixCodePointCountFirst prefix code point countnumberRequired
secondSuffixCodePointStartSecond suffix code point startnumberRequired

Supply nonblank names of at most 64 UTF-16 units each. Expand each to Unicode code points without trimming the original. Require integer prefix count 0–first code-point length and integer second suffix start 0–second length. Join the selected first prefix with the second suffix; reject a selection with both parts empty. Emoji code points are preserved, but combining marks and multi-code-point graphemes can be split. No transliteration, linguistic blending or identity registration occurs.

combinedName=codePoints(firstName).slice(0,prefixCount)+codePoints(secondName).slice(suffixStart)

Apply the field units and exact ordering, boundary and evidence rules above.

Limitations and assumptions

Unicode code-point positions differ from byte offsets and displayed grapheme clusters. Results depend on the independently established measurement basis and the exact model assumptions above.

Every listed input requires an explicit value. Unexpected fields, incorrect value types, nonfinite numbers and sparse numeric arrays fail validation; tool-specific bounds and alignment rules apply as described above. Extremely large inputs or outputs can also be rejected. An input error is distinct from a successful calculation that reports a false comparison or retains unknown evidence.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use Traditional Anniversary Gift Lookup to examine a related aspect: Traditional anniversary gifts depend on the adopted cultural reference.

Use Anniversary Date Calculator where its separate inputs and scope apply: An anniversary date preserves an original month and day in a target year.
