Description
Validate a Unicode scalar and allow it unescaped only when at least 32 and neither quotation mark nor backslash.
A JSON lexeme is its textual spelling, which differs from the decoded value. Escapes, quotes, raw control characters, and surrounding whitespace must be interpreted in context.
Validate a Unicode scalar and allow it unescaped only when at least 32 and neither quotation mark nor backslash.
When to use this tool
Use JSON String Unescaped Del Range Check when you need a narrowly defined JSON string or separator diagnostic.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter scalar. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read allowedUnescaped. Inspect allowedUnescaped before interpreting the associated values.

| allowedUnescaped | Allowed Unescaped | Required. Boolean. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- DEL and higher scalar values pass this syntax-level test; encoding support and application-specific escaping needs are separate.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Parse the entire document when validity matters; a local pattern match cannot establish complete JSON syntax.
