Description

Count supplied required treaty conditions and recorded conditions met.

Treaty and diplomatic records separate action labels, recorded conditions, versions, source locators and financial contributions. A set of true condition flags differs from a verified legal act or entry into force. Dates and translations need the authoritative record and applicable definitions before legal interpretation.

Count supplied required treaty conditions and recorded conditions met.

When to use this tool

Use Treaty Entry Into Force Condition Count when you already have requiredConditions, recordedMet and need to count supplied required treaty conditions and recorded conditions met.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter requiredConditions, recordedMet. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read requiredCount, requiredMetCount, allRequiredMet. Inspect allRequiredMet before interpreting the associated values.

Require aligned requiredConditions/recordedMet arrays; count required flags and required-and-met pairs, then compare counts for allRequiredMet.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • No required conditions, including an empty list, returns true. This does not establish entry into force, source validity or legal satisfaction of a condition.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Check the original treaty, notice, authentic text and status record when assessing an obligation or effective act. Reconcile full contribution ledgers and condition evidence; a local count, share or source-qualified key does not establish legal effect.
