Description

Allocate costPool by allocatedFraction, apply 1 + markupFraction, then multiply by recipientPerLocal for recipientRecharge.

Trade-finance arithmetic combines supplied fees, exchange factors, timing windows, and reporting bases. A local consistency result does not establish document compliance, contract rights, or bank acceptance.

Allocate costPool by allocatedFraction, apply 1 + markupFraction, then multiply by recipientPerLocal for recipientRecharge.

When to use this tool

Use Foreign Office Cost Recharge Markup when you need one transparent cross-border cost or timing component.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter costPool, allocatedFraction, markupFraction, recipientPerLocal. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read allocatedLocalCost, localRecharge, recipientRecharge. Use the output convention below.

Allocate costPool by allocatedFraction, apply 1 + markupFraction, then multiply by recipientPerLocal for recipientRecharge.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Markup may be negative above -1; currency factors, transfer-pricing compliance, and an appropriate markup are not determined.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the complete transaction, contract, bank terms, and applicable accounting policies before acting on a partial calculation.
