Description

Compute amountMinor × feeRate + fixedMinor for unroundedFee, subtract bookedFeeMinor for reserve, and subtract the booked fee from amountMinor for netBookedMinor.

Trade-finance arithmetic combines supplied fees, exchange factors, timing windows, and reporting bases. A local consistency result does not establish document compliance, contract rights, or bank acceptance.

Compute amountMinor × feeRate + fixedMinor for unroundedFee, subtract bookedFeeMinor for reserve, and subtract the booked fee from amountMinor for netBookedMinor.

When to use this tool

Use Cross Border Fee Rounding Reserve when you need one transparent cross-border cost or timing component.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter amountMinor, feeRate, fixedMinor, bookedFeeMinor. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Unrounded fee and reserve can be fractional minor units; no actual rounding rule is applied and signed differences are retained.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the complete transaction, contract, bank terms, and applicable accounting policies before acting on a partial calculation.
