Description
Compute one trapezoid from the endpoint signals, subtract baseline times the interval, and return raw, baseline, and corrected areas.
Immune-assay data can contain raw signals, blanks, gated event counts, dilution labels, and research thresholds. Their units and denominators differ, and arithmetic on supplied values is separate from assay validation or clinical interpretation.
Compute one trapezoid from the endpoint signals, subtract baseline times the interval, and return raw, baseline, and corrected areas.
When to use this tool
Use Immune Response Baseline Area One Panel when you need one transparent research-assay calculation or event-accounting check.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter firstTime, secondTime, firstSignal, secondSignal, baseline. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read rawArea, baselineArea, correctedArea. Use the output convention below.
Require secondTime no earlier than firstTime. Compute one trapezoid from the endpoint signals, subtract baseline times the interval, and return raw, baseline, and corrected areas.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- Time units must match, and area is signal times time. The interval may have zero width and corrected area may be negative; no intermediate response shape is observed.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
