Description
Deduplicate pickedIds and requestedIds literally.
Pharmacy inventory distinguishes physical stock, reservations, holds, lots, package units, and expiry records. A stock calculation describes supplied records and cannot establish that a medicine is suitable or authorized for use.
Deduplicate pickedIds and requestedIds literally.
When to use this tool
Use Pharmacy Tote Picklist Line Count Budget when you need one explicit pharmacy stock-accounting component.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter requestedIds, pickedIds, capacity. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read unpicked, unexpected, pickedDistinct, exceedsCapacity. Inspect exceedsCapacity before interpreting the associated values.
Deduplicate pickedIds and requestedIds literally. Return unpicked requests, unexpected picks, distinct picked count, and whether that count exceeds nonnegative capacity.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| requestedIds | Requested Ids | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |
| pickedIds | Picked Ids | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |
| capacity | Capacity | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| unpicked | Unpicked | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |
| unexpected | Unexpected | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |
| pickedDistinct | Picked Distinct | Required. Safe integer. |
| exceedsCapacity | Exceeds Capacity | Required. Boolean. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Capacity is distinct line count rather than unit count or volume; product identity, correct dispensing, and physical tote fit are not verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Reconcile verified inventory and product records within the pharmacy's controlled workflow before purchasing, releasing, or dispensing stock.
