Urea Foliar Percent Safe Checker
Caller-authorized foliar concentration screen only; does not establish phytotoxicity or safe application.
Description
Compare foliar urea percentage with caller-authorized concentration bounds.
A foliar urea concentration can be checked against an independently approved range for a specific crop and application. This tool compares the observed percentage with the caller's range.
When to use this tool
Compare foliar urea percentage with caller-authorized concentration bounds. Use it when the input measurements and conventions below match the operation you need.
- Prepare observedPercent, callerMinimum, callerMaximum, respecting the measurement basis and boundaries below.
- Compare the worked example with your intended operation before reusing its result.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter every field in the input table using the stated units and exact supported selector spelling where applicable.
- Run the tool. Correct input errors before interpreting an output.
- Read the result fields below; use accompanying flags and the stated sign, boundary or model convention when interpreting a number.
The tool requires callerMinimum no greater than callerMaximum and returns whether observedPercent lies within that range, including both bounds.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| observedPercent | Observed percent. Percentage units; 20 means 20%. | Finite number |
| callerMinimum | Caller-supplied lower bound in the same units and measurement basis as observedPercent. | Finite number |
| callerMaximum | Caller-supplied upper bound in the same units and measurement basis as observedPercent. | Finite number |
| Output field | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| result | Object containing the following named result fields. |
| result.withinCallerBounds | Inclusive comparison with the ordered lower and upper bounds supplied by the caller. |
{
"input": {
"observedPercent": 0.5,
"callerMinimum": 0,
"callerMaximum": 1
},
"output": {
"result": {
"withinCallerBounds": true
}
}
} Limitations and assumptions
- The comparison does not establish a safe application. Formulation, crop stage, weather, water quality, injury risk and label authorization are not evaluated; bounds must use the same percentage basis as the observation.
- Every declared field is required and unexpected fields are rejected. Numeric inputs must be finite; input errors are distinct from a valid false result or an explicitly qualified output.
- Extremely large inputs and nonfinite or excessively large outputs are rejected. List positions reported by the tool use zero-based indices unless stated otherwise.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Match the supplied measurements and reference context to the actual crop, material and site. A dimensional calculation or retrieved record is not a substitute for inspecting plant condition and applicable product instructions. Compare the scope of the nearby tools below before substituting one.
