Two-and-One Charge Stack Position Calculator
Construct an ideal two-and-one normalized rectangular-envelope layout, not shield-centroid placement or universal arrangement proportions.
Description
A two-over-one arrangement places two charges above a single lower charge.
A two-over-one arrangement places two charges above a single lower charge.1
Ideal rectangular-envelope centers provide a starting layout rather than a fitted drawing inside an actual shield outline.
When to use Two-and-One Charge Stack Position Calculator
Use this tool to calculate or review the supplied observations under the stated rules. Establish the source tradition, viewing frame, coordinate units and independently annotated features.
How to use Two-and-One Charge Stack Position Calculator and understand its results
- Establish the source tradition, viewing frame, coordinate units and independently annotated features.
- Enter fieldWidth, fieldHeight, using the field meanings and rules below, then run the tool.
- Read result.centers, using the output meanings and calculation rules below.
- Correct any reported input issue and run again. Before using a successful result, check the stated units, signs, reference scope and observation coverage.
| Input field | Meaning | Value type | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| fieldWidth | Field width | number | Required |
| fieldHeight | Field height | number | Required |
Use positive field width and height, each at most 1000000000 in the same unit. Return three center coordinate pairs in order: upper left at [w/3,h/3], upper right at [2w/3,h/3], then lower center at [w/2,2h/3]. Coordinates are viewer x-right and y-down.
centers=[[w/3,h/3],[2w/3,h/3],[w/2,2h/3]] Use the matching field units and the exact boundary, ordering and reference rules above.

} Limitations and assumptions
This is a rectangular-envelope layout. Charge sizes, spacing collisions, shield clipping and source-specific arrangement requirements are not calculated.
Missing required fields, unknown fields, wrong types and violated rules return input issues. Numeric values and outputs must be finite. Extremely large composite outputs are rejected.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For a related step, use Three-in-F spacing Geometry Checker: A three-charge spacing review needs measured criteria and an independently selected arrangement standard. For a complementary comparison, use Charge Arrangement in Chief Position Checker (1-3-3 rule): An in-chief arrangement concerns placement in the upper part of the field under an adopted convention.
