Tincture Frequency Histogram Generator for a Roll
Count independently annotated tincture occurrences in a roll; repeated occurrences are not per-arm presence.
Description
Tincture frequency can describe annotated occurrences in a declared corpus.
Tincture frequency can describe annotated occurrences in a declared corpus.1
Token counts do not measure painted area or reconcile different spellings automatically.
When to use Tincture Frequency Histogram Generator for a Roll
Use this tool to calculate or review the supplied observations under the stated rules. Establish the source tradition, viewing frame, coordinate units and independently annotated features.
How to use Tincture Frequency Histogram Generator for a Roll and understand its results
- Establish the source tradition, viewing frame, coordinate units and independently annotated features.
- Enter annotatedTinctureTokens, using the field meanings and rules below, then run the tool.
- Read result.tokens, result.counts, using the output meanings and calculation rules below.
- Correct any reported input issue and run again. Before using a successful result, check the stated units, signs, reference scope and observation coverage.
| Input field | Meaning | Value type | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| annotatedTinctureTokens | Annotated tincture tokens | list of string | Required |
Supply a nonempty list of nonblank exact tincture tokens. Preserve each distinct token in first-occurrence order and count exact equal strings. Repeated tokens are counted; case and whitespace differences are retained.
tokens=uniqueInFirstOccurrenceOrder(input); counts_k=numberOfExactOccurrences(tokens_k) Use the matching field units and the exact boundary, ordering and reference rules above.
| Output field | Meaning | Value type |
|---|---|---|
| result | Calculated observation or reference | object |
| result.tokens | tokens | list |
| result.counts | counts | list |

Tokens are caller-annotated, with no vocabulary normalization, image extraction, corpus completeness check or painted-area calculation.
Missing required fields, unknown fields, wrong types and violated rules return input issues. Numeric values and outputs must be finite. Lists and matrices must be dense, without missing cells. Numeric lists allow at most 10000 entries; ordinary string lists allow at most 128 strings of 128 UTF-16 units each; numeric matrices allow at most 128 rows and 128 columns, subject to narrower requirements above. Extremely large composite outputs are rejected.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For a related step, use Metals-to-Colours Usage Ratio Calculator for Arms Set: Metals and colours are tincture categories under a stated annotation scheme. For a complementary comparison, use Gules Dominance Percent in Roll Calculator: A roll-level gules share counts arms annotated as containing gules.
