Difference Subtle Change Sufficiency Rater
Rate observed differences under qualified independently matched sufficiency rubric, not a grant-conflict determination. Independently matched independently annotated armorial difference calibration, piecewise-linear with no extrapolation; not a universal threshold or decision.
Description
A subtlety reference can relate a measured coordinate to a calibrated response.
A subtlety reference can relate a measured coordinate to a calibrated response.1
Interpolating that curve does not assess visual distinctiveness from an image. The tool interpolates your supplied reference curve and returns the local slope without extrapolation.
When to use Difference Subtle Change Sufficiency Rater
Use this tool to calculate or review the supplied observations under the stated rules. Establish the source tradition, viewing frame, coordinate units and independently annotated features.
How to use Difference Subtle Change Sufficiency Rater and understand its results
- Establish the source tradition, viewing frame, coordinate units and independently annotated features.
- Enter observedMatchedCoordinates, callerMatchedResponses, queryCoordinate, using the field meanings and rules below, then run the tool.
- Read result.interpolatedResponse, result.localMatchedSlope, using the output meanings and calculation rules below.
- Correct any reported input issue and run again. Before using a successful result, check the stated units, signs, reference scope and observation coverage.
| Input field | Meaning | Value type | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| observedMatchedCoordinates | Observed matched coordinates | list of number | Required |
| callerMatchedResponses | Caller matched responses | list of number | Required |
| queryCoordinate | Query coordinate; use the exact reference token or coordinate domain stated below | number | Required |
The curve helper requires at least two aligned samples with coordinates strictly increasing and the query inside their closed range. Interpolate linearly between neighboring samples. At an exact interior knot use that value and the right-hand segment slope; at the last knot use the final left-hand segment. Queries outside the range fail.
value=y_i+(query−x_i)(y_(i+1)−y_i)/(x_(i+1)−x_i); slope=(y_(i+1)−y_i)/(x_(i+1)−x_i) Use the matching field units and the exact boundary, ordering and reference rules above.
| Output field | Meaning | Value type |
|---|---|---|
| result | Calculated observation or reference | object |
| result.interpolatedResponse | interpolated Response | number |
| result.localMatchedSlope | local Matched Slope | number |

} Limitations and assumptions
The supplied annotations, measurements and source tradition determine applicability. The tool does not independently establish identity, provenance, entitlement or heraldic acceptability. Interpolation does not support extrapolation or replace a protocol-specific physical model.
Missing required fields, unknown fields, wrong types and violated rules return input issues. Numeric values and outputs must be finite. Lists and matrices must be dense, without missing cells. Numeric lists allow at most 10000 entries; ordinary string lists allow at most 128 strings of 128 UTF-16 units each; numeric matrices allow at most 128 rows and 128 columns, subject to narrower requirements above. Extremely large composite outputs are rejected.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For a related step, use Coat Similarity Conflict Checking Heuristic Scorer: An annotation-based conflict score can weight exact agreement in chosen attributes. For a complementary comparison, use Ordinary Width Proportion Checker (chief/fess/pale/bend): Ordinary-width review depends on the selected drawing and proportion standard.
