Description
Label a provider-payment amount with its supplied currency and payment unit.
Health-policy records use explicit benefit codes, payment units, directory dates and administrative periods. A supplied cap, deductible or covered-code list defines a bookkeeping scenario; determining actual eligibility or obligations requires the governing policy. Date boundaries, currency bases and distance units must remain explicit.
Label a provider-payment amount with its supplied currency and payment unit.
When to use this tool
Use Provider Payment Unit Label when checking the stated caller-defined policy, benefit, directory or period convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter recordId, amount, currencyCode, paymentUnit. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read label. Use the output convention below.
Require nonempty recordId, currencyCode and paymentUnit. Format recordId; amount currencyCode per paymentUnit, preserving the supplied signed numeric amount.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- This labels a supplied payment basis without validating currency/unit codes, calculating reimbursement or determining contractual rights.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
