Gynecology Visit Window Explicit Gap Tool

Report scalar research-window slack under supplied bounds.

Loading tool…

Description

Return actual-lower and upper-actual slacks and a signed outside distance, negative before the window, positive after, or zero within both boundaries.

Menstrual and visit records can contain uncertain onsets, partial observation windows, and supplied day origins. A bounded interval calculation describes those records without predicting fertility or establishing a normal clinical pattern.

Return actual-lower and upper-actual slacks and a signed outside distance, negative before the window, positive after, or zero within both boundaries.

When to use this tool

Use Gynecology Visit Window Explicit Gap when you need one explicit day-coordinate or uncertainty-bound component.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter actualDay, lowerDay, upperDay. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read lowerSlack, upperSlack, signedOutsideDistance. Use the output convention below.

Require upperDay at least lowerDay. Return actual-lower and upper-actual slacks and a signed outside distance, negative before the window, positive after, or zero within both boundaries.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Day coordinates and the window are supplied; this does not select a recommended visit schedule, assess care urgency, or establish clinical acceptability.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Preserve uncertainty and consult an appropriate health professional for symptoms, clinical interpretation, or care scheduling.
