Cycle Diary Gap Closure Token Tool

Classify a supplied diary gap with explicit endpoint conventions without predicting cycles.

Description

Test day against the gap using independent previous-end and next-start inclusion flags.

Research cycle labels are coordinates on a chosen timeline. Comparing phase days requires a common origin and cycle length; agreement modulo a fixed cycle is an arithmetic relationship, not evidence of a physiological phase.

Test day against the gap using independent previous-end and next-start inclusion flags.

When to use this tool

Use Cycle Diary Gap Closure Token when you need to reconcile explicit research day labels without estimating ovulation or physiology.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter day, previousEnd, nextStart, includePreviousEnd, includeNextStart. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read inGap. Inspect inGap before interpreting the associated values.

Require previousEnd no later than nextStart. Test day against the gap using independent previous-end and next-start inclusion flags.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Inputs are numeric day coordinates, not parsed dates; gap membership does not establish missing observations, cycle phase, fertility, or care needs.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

For a study dataset, reconcile source records and day-origin conventions first. Physiological interpretation requires an appropriate clinical or research method rather than fixed-cycle arithmetic.
