GMP Yield Reference Base Token Tool

Compare supplied batch mass against explicit theoretical or charged bases without a release criterion.

Description

Select the denominator using useTheoretical and return actual/denominator with that base.

Manufacturing balances compare recorded quantities on a common material basis. Yield, potency, moisture, and disposition counts answer different questions; a consistent calculation does not by itself authorize a product or establish manufacturing compliance.

Select the denominator using useTheoretical and return actual/denominator with that base.

When to use this tool

Use GMP Yield Reference Base Token when you need an explicit manufacturing quantity reconciliation or supplied-factor adjustment.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter actualMass, theoreticalMass, chargedMass, useTheoretical. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read yieldFraction, denominator. Use the output convention below.

Require nonnegative actualMass and positive theoreticalMass and chargedMass. Select the denominator using useTheoretical and return actual/denominator with that base.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Both possible denominators are validated and fractions above one are allowed; masses share units and no yield target, mass-balance closure, product quality, or compliance verdict is selected.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Reconcile authenticated batch records and approved methods before interpreting the arithmetic. Product release, potency interpretation, and process suitability require the applicable quality procedures and responsible review.
