Batch Signoff Source Gap Tool

Inspect explicit signoff provenance and role metadata without batch-release or GMP-compliance decisions.

Description

Count empty sources, literal role mismatches, and rows with nonempty source, matching role, and verified flag.

Good manufacturing practice records connect materials, actions, people, and source evidence. A local check can expose missing or inconsistent metadata, but it cannot authenticate a record or replace quality-system review.

Count empty sources, literal role mismatches, and rows with nonempty source, matching role, and verified flag.

When to use this tool

Use Batch Signoff Source Gap when you need a literal manufacturing-record or source-support diagnostic.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter stepIds, signoffSources, requiredRoles, recordedRoles, sourceVerified. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read steps, missingSources, roleMismatches, verifiedMatchingSignoffs. Use the output convention below.

Require aligned stepIds, signoffSources, roles, and sourceVerified flags with unique step IDs. Count empty sources, literal role mismatches, and rows with nonempty source, matching role, and verified flag.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Counts describe supplied metadata; sourceVerified is not independently checked and no identity authentication, cryptographic signature, authorized release, or complete signoff compliance is established.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the controlled record system to verify identity, provenance, approvals, and complete audit history. Treat local flags as prompts for investigation rather than release or compliance decisions.
