Description
Identify the assay generation associated with a gastrointestinal result.
Gastrointestinal study and procedure records use explicit specimen, assay, instrument, site and time conventions. A wet/dry mass label differs from converting a sample basis, while a recorded interval differs from a physiological transit estimate. Metadata alone does not establish anatomy, assay validity or a clinical finding.
Identify the assay generation associated with a gastrointestinal result.
When to use this tool
Use GI Result Assay Generation Tag when checking the stated gastrointestinal record, measurement label or timing convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter resultId, methodId, assayGeneration. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read token. Use the output convention below.
Require nonempty result ID, method ID and assay-generation wording. Encode the ordered triple as JSON text.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| resultId | Result Id | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| methodId | Method Id | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| assayGeneration | Assay Generation | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| token | JSON-encoded ordered tuple or literal token under the convention above; not a database lookup or authentication result. | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |

"input": {

"methodId": "M4",
"assayGeneration": "generation 2"
},
"output": {
"token": "[\"R17\",\"M4\",\"generation 2\"]"

} Limitations and assumptions
- No assay is identified from a registry or compared for performance; generation wording does not validate a result.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use original validated clinical/laboratory records and qualified medical interpretation for actual diagnostic, procedural or care decisions.
