Book Cipher Encoder Fun
Declaredfirst-CHARACTERindexbookcipher,not word/pagecode,multiplelocationrandomization or secure encryption. Offline bounded explicit text/rule convention, not natural-language validity, personaltrait inference or security.
Description
A book cipher uses shared reference text to represent a message as positions.
A book cipher uses shared reference text to represent a message as positions.1
This restricted encoder uses the first occurrence of each letter in a supplied ASCII book string, counting spaces as positions rather than using page, line or word coordinates.
When to use Book Cipher Encoder Fun
Use this tool to apply the stated book cipher encoder fun operation with an explicit input and unit basis.
How to use Book Cipher Encoder Fun and how it works
- Establish the text or game convention described above.
- Enter actualAsciiMessage, actualAsciiBookText and run the tool.
- Read result.zeroBasedFirstBookCodepointPositions using the output meanings below.
- If input is rejected, correct the stated type, range, ordering or alignment issue and rerun; review successful results under the declared convention.
| Input field | Meaning | Value type | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| actualAsciiMessage | Ascii Message. Units, ordering and applicable branch are specified in the algorithm. | string | required; further conditions in the algorithm |
| actualAsciiBookText | Ascii Book Text. Units, ordering and applicable branch are specified in the algorithm. | string | required; further conditions in the algorithm |
Require an ASCII-letter-only message and a book text containing ASCII letters and spaces. Lowercase both; for each message letter find its first index in the book string, reject absent letters and return zero-based indices including intervening spaces. Repeated message letters reuse the same index.
position(letter) = first zero-based occurrence in lowercase(book text) Apply the declared units, ordering and branch conditions.
| Output field | Meaning | Value type |
|---|---|---|
| result | Object containing the declared output fields. | object |
| result.zeroBasedFirstBookCodepointPositions | First book positions for each message letter, including spaces in the index. | array |

} Limitations and assumptions
The output applies the declared operation to the values you supply. Establish the measurement basis, units, coefficients and any caller-selected rules before interpreting it. The tool does not independently collect or verify observations or decide whether a model or reference applies.
Supply explicit required fields with the documented types and dense aligned arrays. Unknown fields, wrong types and nonfinite numbers are rejected. Branch-specific constraints are explained above. A returned boolean, signed difference or tied result follows the stated convention; an input error instead means the required input contract was not satisfied. Very large inputs or outputs may be rejected by shared resource limits.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For a related operation, use Cryptogram Maker. A substitution cryptogram replaces each alphabet letter consistently to make a puzzle.
For a related operation, use Backwards Talk Converter. Backwards text can be a playful effect or a simple string exercise.
