Description
Join dimensions with spaced multiplication signs and append the unit once.
A unit label is text describing a quantity's intended scale. Joining tokens, adding powers or choosing spacing changes presentation; it does not convert the quantity, validate dimensional compatibility or verify a unit registry entry.
Join dimensions with spaced multiplication signs and append the unit once.
When to use this tool
Use Dimension Triple Unit Once Style when you need a specific quantity-and-unit text convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter dimensions, unit. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read text. Use the output convention below.
Require exactly three nonnegative dimensions and a nonempty unit. Join dimensions with spaced multiplication signs and append the unit once.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |

} Limitations and assumptions
- The dimensions share the declared unit by assumption. Axis names, order, physical compatibility and a volume calculation are not provided.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use a unit-aware calculation for actual conversion and dimensional checks. Select a destination-appropriate typography and retain the intended unit meaning when preparing labels.
