Exhibit Source Resolution Gap Tool

Compare explicit source resolution requirements; no evidentiary reliability conclusion.

Description

Count ratios above one and return the largest ratio, or zero for an empty list.

Evidence records link identifiers, packaging, quantities and source assertions. Literal equality and balanced counts can reveal local inconsistencies, but they cannot authenticate physical evidence, establish custody completeness or determine legal admissibility.

Count ratios above one and return the largest ratio, or zero for an empty list.

When to use this tool

Use Exhibit Source Resolution Gap when you need a scoped evidence-record or quantity-reconciliation diagnostic.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter exhibitIds, measuredQuanta, requiredQuanta. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read coarserExhibits, largestQuantumRatio. Use the output convention below.

Require unique exhibit IDs and aligned positive measured/required quanta. Count ratios above one and return the largest ratio, or zero for an empty list.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • A larger quantum is a coarser resolution under this model. Resolution requirements are supplied and do not establish measurement accuracy or evidentiary adequacy.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review authenticated source records and the complete custody process through the appropriate professional procedure. Treat local flags as prompts for investigation rather than independent evidentiary conclusions.
