Description
Identify a recorded recall notification that still lacks acknowledgment.
Food-safety records connect lots, certificates, control-point limits, sample times and recall communications. A recorded signoff or allergen label does not prove that a hazard is controlled. Traceability, validated limits and actual product conditions need the complete food-safety system and qualified review.
Identify a recorded recall notification that still lacks acknowledgment.
When to use this tool
Use Food Recall Contact Ack Flag when checking the stated food-safety metadata, chronology or acknowledgment convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter contactId, notificationRecorded, acknowledgmentRecorded. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read awaitingAcknowledgment. Inspect awaitingAcknowledgment before interpreting the associated values.
Require nonempty contactId and reject acknowledgmentRecorded=true when notificationRecorded=false. awaitingAcknowledgment means notification exists without acknowledgment.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| contactId | Contact Id | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| notificationRecorded | Notification Recorded | Required. Boolean. |
| acknowledgmentRecorded | Acknowledgment Recorded | Required. Boolean. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| awaitingAcknowledgment | True only for notification recorded without acknowledgment; false also when no notification exists. | Required. Boolean. |
{
"input": {
"contactId": "C17",
"notificationRecorded": true,
"acknowledgmentRecorded": false
},
"output": {
"awaitingAcknowledgment": true
}
} Limitations and assumptions
- Neither record is authenticated; a false waiting flag can also mean no notification, and it does not establish complete recall communication or safe food.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use verified records, validated hazard-control methods and applicable requirements with qualified food-safety professionals for actual product release, handling or consumption decisions.
