Session Blinding Code Label

Record opaque session-masking codes without decoding conditions or certifying blinding.

Description

Preserve a supplied session-blinding code and its source.

Experimental-psychology records separate condition labels, declared masking, timing assumptions, response rules and reward realizations. A supplied random draw can be evaluated without generating randomness, and a threshold comparison does not verify preregistration or establish statistical significance. Experimental validity needs the complete design and source observations.

Preserve a supplied session-blinding code and its source.

When to use this tool

Use Session Blinding Code Label when checking the stated benign experiment record, timing, allocation or payoff convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter sessionCode, maskingCode, codebookVersion. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read token. Use the output convention below.

Require nonempty session code, masking code and codebook version. Encode the ordered triple as JSON text.1

Input fieldMeaning and unitsAccepted input
sessionCodeSession CodeRequired. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192.
maskingCodeMasking CodeRequired. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192.
codebookVersionCodebook VersionRequired. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192.
Output fieldInterpretationReturned shape
tokenJSON-encoded ordered tuple or literal token under the convention above; not a database lookup or authentication result.Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192.

Limitations and assumptions

  • No masking scheme, participant knowledge, codebook meaning or experimental blinding is independently checked.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use verified protocols, calibrated timing, appropriate complete statistical methods and responsible participant/ethics review for actual experimental conclusions.
