Belief Scope Hypothesis Token Tool

Retain an explicitly annotated hypothesis scope rather than inferring a belief or evidence relation.

Description

Compare hypothesis and expectedHypothesis literally and serialize source, hypothesis and claim into a JSON-array key.

Logical labels depend on a specified interpretation, scope and accessibility relation. A material implication holding in one model or a proposition holding in every supplied accessible world is different from proving an actual claim true.

Compare hypothesis and expectedHypothesis literally and serialize source, hypothesis and claim into a JSON-array key.

When to use this tool

Use Belief Scope Hypothesis Token when you need one stated finite-model or scope comparison.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter claim, hypothesis, source, expectedHypothesis. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read sameScope, key. Inspect sameScope before interpreting the associated values.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Token equality does not establish conceptual equivalence, source authenticity or truth. The key is a scoped identifier rather than an evidence assessment.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the full logical semantics and all relevant models for an entailment claim. Verify scope, premises and accessibility assumptions before interpreting local boolean results as a general conclusion.
