Airport Pavement PCN Calculator

Audit independently established aircraft pavement demand against exact pavement-type/subgrade/pressure-method capacity bands, no PCN from layer thickness or runway authorization. Unknown criterion indices distinguish zero placeholders from known zero margins. Caller independently establishes units, regime, calibration and applicability; this does not establish design-code compliance, authenticity, operational safety, treatment efficacy or a validated forecast.

Description

A pavement-demand screen compares supplied observations with independently chosen bounds.

A pavement-demand screen compares supplied observations with independently chosen bounds.1

Its acronym does not install an airport classification standard or determine aircraft eligibility. Use Airport Pavement PCN Calculator to compare observations with caller-supplied bands.

When to use Airport Pavement PCN Calculator

Use Airport Pavement PCN Calculator to compare observations with caller-supplied bands. Choose appropriate units and independently verified criterion bands; mark every unassessed criterion with known flag 0.

How to use Airport Pavement PCN Calculator and understand its results

  1. Choose appropriate units and independently verified criterion bands; mark every unassessed criterion with known flag 0.
  2. Enter Observed pavement pcn demand, Caller verified pavement pcn demand lower, Caller verified pavement pcn demand upper, Known pavement pcn demand criterion flags using the field table and validation rules below, then run the tool.
  3. Read Signed known band margins, Known review indices, Unknown criterion indices and interpret units, signs, ordering and placeholders as explained below.
  4. If the tool reports an input error, correct that field and rerun. A successful false result, empty match list or unknown-evidence placeholder has the specific meaning described here; check the limitations before applying the result.

Provide aligned nonempty arrays of observations, lower limits, upper limits and known flags. All numbers must be finite, each lower limit must not exceed its upper limit, and flags must be 0 or 1. Known criteria receive min(observation−lower, upper−observation); a negative margin requests review, while equality is inside the band. Unknown criteria receive a zero placeholder and are listed separately. Review and unknown indices are zero based and retain input order. Limits and their applicable units come from the caller, rather than an installed assessment scale.

known margin = min(observation−lower, upper−observation); unknown margin = 0 placeholder

Field order, units and branch conditions follow the implementation explanation above.

unknownCriterionIndicesZero-based indices of criteria marked unknown; their zero margins are placeholders.array of number

Limitations and assumptions

Its acronym does not install an airport classification standard or determine aircraft eligibility. Apply the exact scope and assumptions described above.

All listed fields require explicit values. Unexpected fields, incorrect types, nonfinite numbers and sparse arrays fail validation. Domain-specific bounds, alignments and supported tokens are stated above; extremely large inputs or outputs can also be rejected. These errors differ from successful results such as false, no matches or unknown evidence.
