Description
Subtract recorded removed content from a topical package's starting content.
Dermatology records distinguish specimen sites, image permissions, orientation, scale references, area models and observation states. Full ellipse axes differ from radii, and rectangular area estimates need not match a lesion or wound. Supplied labels and scalar image measurements do not establish clinical findings or appropriate care.
Subtract recorded removed content from a topical package's starting content.
When to use this tool
Use Topical Product Package Remaining Mass when you already have startingPackageContent, removedContent and need to subtract recorded removed content from a topical package's starting content.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter startingPackageContent, removedContent. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read remainingContent. Use the output convention below.
Require both content amounts>=0; return starting-removed without clamping.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| startingPackageContent | Starting Package Content | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| removedContent | Removed Content | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| remainingContent | Starting-removed, retaining negative discrepancies; no actual dose is computed. | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Negative balances are retained. Units must match; no actual package content, dose, adherence, potency or suitable product use is established.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Review the original clinical, specimen and image records with verified calibration and consent context. Use the complete appropriate assessment for interpretation; local geometry, display labels and reporting conventions do not identify a lesion, diagnose disease or choose treatment.
