Scaffold Rental Day Count Input

Count recorded scaffold rental calendar days under an explicit return-day inclusion convention without selecting supplier billing terms.

Description

Count supplied scaffold-rental calendar days under a return-date policy.

Construction records combine revisions, dates, dimensions, rental periods, claims and financial balances. Revision numbers need not be consecutive, calendar offsets differ from business days, and recoverable length can depend on a strict cutoff. A supplied approval or readiness label is a record assertion rather than an engineering inspection or contractual determination.

When to use this tool

Use Scaffold Rental Day Count Input when you already have startDate, returnDate, countReturnDay and need to count supplied scaffold-rental calendar days under a return-date policy.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter startDate, returnDate, countReturnDay. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read rentalDays. Use the output convention below.

Parse real UTC dates, require return>=start; return elapsed days plus one if countReturnDay=true.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • The same date yields zero or one as selected. No actual rental, charge, minimum billing period, scaffold condition or safe use is verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Check controlled drawings, site measurements, schedules, approvals and the complete contract. Use the appropriate engineering assessment and actual billing or claim terms when a local scalar calculation or date comparison cannot establish suitability or entitlement.
