Concrete Ticket Delivered Returned Volume

Reconcile a concrete delivery ticket, returned volume and recorded placement without estimating strength or accepting a batch.

Description

Reconcile supplied concrete ticket, returned and placed volumes.

Construction records combine revisions, dates, dimensions, rental periods, claims and financial balances. Revision numbers need not be consecutive, calendar offsets differ from business days, and recoverable length can depend on a strict cutoff. A supplied approval or readiness label is a record assertion rather than an engineering inspection or contractual determination.

Reconcile supplied concrete ticket, returned and placed volumes.

When to use this tool

Use Concrete Ticket Delivered Returned Volume when you already have ticketVolume, returnedVolume, recordedPlacedVolume and need to reconcile supplied concrete ticket, returned and placed volumes.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter ticketVolume, returnedVolume, recordedPlacedVolume. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read netDeliveredVolume, placementClosureResidual. Use the output convention below.

Require ticket>=0, return within ticket and placed>=0; net=ticket-return, residual=ticket-return-placed.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Placed volume may exceed net and give negative residual. No delivery, placement, concrete quality, loss or structural adequacy is verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Check controlled drawings, site measurements, schedules, approvals and the complete contract. Use the appropriate engineering assessment and actual billing or claim terms when a local scalar calculation or date comparison cannot establish suitability or entitlement.
