Posture Landmark Asymmetry Input

Compare explicitly marked landmark coordinates on a supplied image axis without detecting posture or diagnosing asymmetry.

Description

Compare supplied right and left landmarks on a named axis.

Clinical movement and practice records distinguish coordinate references, recorded observations, fees and supplied assessment labels. A reference-minus-camera angle differs from an angle wrap, and a right-minus-left coordinate difference is only geometry. Local measures do not diagnose a condition or determine appropriate care.

Compare supplied right and left landmarks on a named axis.

When to use this tool

Use Posture Landmark Asymmetry Input when you already have leftCoordinate, rightCoordinate, positiveAxisLabel and need to compare supplied right and left landmarks on a named axis.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter leftCoordinate, rightCoordinate, positiveAxisLabel. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read rightMinusLeft, axisLabel. Use the output convention below.

Require positiveAxisLabel nonempty; return rightCoordinate-leftCoordinate and preserve that label.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Units and origin must match. No landmark, anatomical asymmetry, posture, clinical condition or appropriate treatment is measured or diagnosed.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the original clinical and measurement records with verified calibration and the complete assessment. Use professional clinical judgment for care questions and actual billing terms for account questions; local coordinate or fee arithmetic does not supply either determination.
