Description

Create a document claim's page/line locator.

Health-research records connect study identifiers, source assertions, outcome labels and timing conventions. A coverage count, literal match or recorded interval can expose missing information, while the quality of evidence, actual blinding and treatment effectiveness still require assessment of the original study.

Create a document claim's page/line locator.

When to use this tool

Use Chiropractic Document Claim Citation Locator when checking a supplied study-record, evidence-support or timing convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter documentId, page, firstLine, lastLine, claimId. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read lineCount, locator. Use the output convention below.

Create a document claim's page/line locator. Require positive whole page/firstLine, lastLine >= firstLine and nonempty documentId/claimId; lineCount includes both endpoints and locator serializes all fields.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • The document and claim are not retrieved or verified; a precise locator does not establish factual or clinical support.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Read the original research and registration records, appraise study design and bias, and consult qualified health professionals for conclusions that affect care.
