Description
Return survey response share after duplicates and exclusions.
Biosecurity administration records training assertions, custody, access purposes, inventories and document handling. Local counts, time checks and permission predicates describe supplied metadata; they do not authenticate people or items, enforce access or establish actual protective conditions.
Return survey response share after duplicates and exclusions.
When to use this tool
Use Biosecurity Deidentified Survey Response Base when checking the stated benign biosecurity record, inventory, support or authorization convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter invited, responded, duplicated, excluded, includeExcluded. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read uniqueResponses, denominator, responseShare. Use the output convention below.
Return survey response share after duplicates and exclusions. Require positive whole invited, valid responded/duplicated/excluded counts and uniqueResponses <= invited-excluded; denominator is invited when includeExcluded, otherwise invited-excluded.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| invited | Invited | Required. Safe integer; minimum 1. |
| responded | Responded | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| duplicated | Duplicated | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| excluded | Excluded | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| includeExcluded | Include Excluded | Required. Boolean. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| uniqueResponses | responded-duplicated, required not to exceed invited-excluded under either denominator policy. | Required. Safe integer. |
| denominator | Denominator | Required. Safe integer. |
| responseShare | Response Share Unit: 1. | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- The constraints apply even when including exclusions; no actual deidentification, response independence or representativeness is established.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
